Meet Khemraj “Chico” Ramchal
Born in Guyana, Chico has lived in Hudson County for over 20 years. From a young age, he got involved with his community and has taken major strides towards making his neighborhood a better place to live. He graduated from Bayonne High School and then attended New Jersey City University. Chico currently works as an enforcement officer for the Hudson County Improvement Authority.

Position
Chico has served in local and county government, and has been a civic leader for many years. He has worked closely with Freeholder Bill O’Dea and Councilman Dave Donnelley to address the needs of Ward B. Chico also serves as Chairperson for South Hudson Civic Association and President of the West Indian American Committee.

Chico works tirelessly to address the needs and concerns of the community. As your Councilman, Chico will open up a legislative office in Ward B to handle constituent services, since he considers the City Council a full-time commitment.
