Please join us this Wed, October 19, 7:00 PM, Ferris High 35 Colgate as this will be the LAST CHANCE to COMMENT   against Spectra gas pipeline through Jersey City. You can help us by commenting and helping the organization NO Gas Pipeline which has been pivotal in the effort.

NO Gas Pipeline will sue FERC in Federal Court which is the ONLY way to stop Spectra's gas pipeline, however NOGASPIPELINE.ORGcan use more members to further the organization’s legal standing.

NEW JERSEY - NEW YORK EXPANSION PROJECT
DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission rules on interstate gas pipeline projects.The draft EIS (Environmental Impact Statement) assesses the potential environmental effects of the construction and operation of the NJ-NY Project in accordance with the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA).

Any person wishing to comment on the draft EIS, from anywhere in US may do so. The public comment deadline is October 31, 2011. Go to NO Gas Pipeline to send comment to FERC: www.nogaspipeline.org/petition
