Former Dumont Mayor Andrew LaBruno (LD39) has spent the last decade revitalizing his community and advocating for public safety. Elected to Borough Council in 2018 and Mayor in 2020, he also serves as a Police Sergeant in Jersey City and previously led the Jersey City Police Superior Officers Association as Union President.

A dedicated husband, father, and Dumont resident, LaBruno founded the Dumont Community Group, leading events like the Dumont 5K, Movies in the Park, and other initiatives that bring neighbors together. With a strong background in law enforcement and community service, he believes in hands-on leadership and is committed to challenging the status quo in Trenton to deliver real results for District 39.
