Eddie Freeman III, Esq. is a proud resident of Evesham Township and has served his community as a Councilman since 2021. Born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas, Eddie is the middle child of three. After his parents’ divorce, he was raised by his hard-working single mother. In 2002, after graduating from high school, Eddie enlisted in the United States Army Reserve where he served for almost nine-and-a-half years. During that time he was deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan, and rose to the rank of Sergeant. While in the military, Eddie decided to pursue his college education. He enrolled and graduated from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, earning a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology, with a minor in Spanish, all while working a full-time job. While enrolled at Oklahoma City University School of Law, he was elected the President of the school’s LGBT student organization. Eddie began his legal career working as a Legal Service Attorney where he led outreach programs to the LGBTQ community educating them on available resources. He currently works as associate counsel for a Fortune 100 company.
